Entrepreneur Ideas that kills your dream
Many people I know holds some mythical entrepreneur ideas I used to have. Unless the education system changes, it is likely people will continue to have myth about entrepreneur ideas. So what are some of the entrepreneur ideas that I personally think is really limiting our success?
5 Mythical Entrepreneur Ideas:
- Myth 1: Entrepreneurs are born, not made.
Having an entrepreneurial mindset is not something a person acquired from his birth. This entrepreneur ideas is very far from the truth. To have the entrepreneurial mindset and skills, a person must have the necessary education about this stuff. An education is something that you acquire after you were born. Being an entrepreneur is something that you make of yourself. This is one of the worst entrepreneur ideas people have, because it literally stops them from taking action in the first place.
- Myth 2: Entrepreneurs need lots of money to kick start business.
It is true many business requires lots of capital to start up. However, one of the mythical entrepreneur ideas most people believe is they need to come up with those money on their own. In many case, if the entrepreneur is resourceful enough, they can find investors. They always find ways to leverage on other people’s money. Alternatively, network marketing industry do not require tons of money to start.
- Myth 3: Entrepreneurs only want profits.
Do entrepreneurs really just want money, or what the money can bring? The benefits of benefit (profit) really is also to realize their passion, dreams, independence and time freedom. Profit = Value * Number of people you serve. Successful entrepreneurs really concentrate on bringing massive value to many people to get massive profits.
- Myth 4: Entrepreneurs do business alone.
That is true for self-employed people who create a job for themselves. True entrepreneur always try to find other business partner who can further add value to their business. They are constantly finding means to leverage other people’s strength and expertise.
- Myth 5: Great entrepreneurs never fail.
This is one of the ironic mythical entrepreneur ideas that’s so funny it’s not funny. No one ever learns without failing. Achieving success means you fail more than others. It means you fall down and you bounce back and start again. A great entrepreneur never gives up in realizing his ideas and dreams. Those who never take calculated risks never fail, but neither are they successful.
