This gives you lesser leads, but leads generated in this manner are highly qualified. Alternatively, you can spend some money to get lots of leads in a shorter amount of time, and build a relationship at the backend of your funnel.

The very first tip I would really love to share with you is that you interact with your audience. Yes, in Facebook we do social media campaign but that does not mean we flood or spam them with links to your affiliate links, business opportunity, lead capture page or products. Engage with your audience first and eventually they will know and be interested in your brand.

Second tip is for you to be yourself. Your Facebook profile or fan page for social media campaign is a reflection of yourself. Whatever you tell must be something that is real on you and your business. Your posts should be something relevant to you and your business. Also, do not use offensive words or images as it will bring a bad impression to your audience.

Third tip is to be unique. A stereotype profile or page is boring. Give your audience something that will make them interact with you. How could you effectively do social media campaign when there is no one interacting with you, right?

Fourth tip is to always keep updating. Always give your audience new ideas and information about you and your business. Make them feel that you are always there to guide them in every step of the way.

Remember and make use of these tips and surely your social media campaign on Facebook will gain you so many followers which in the end could be your potential customers.

    From my live presentations on intro to social media to networking groups it’s common for people, (at least in the UK) to really struggle in marketing their business on Facebook.
    They’re uncomfortable and generally don’t know how.

    This is a very nice article here with helpful social media etiquette tips. I believe that there is no shortage of NEED for this very kind of message because it seems that several times a day, I notice people resorting to very SPAMMY tactics of getting out their messages on the social media channels. We both know that these tactics do not do anything to inspire trust in others…the truth is that most times, no one ever responds or even clicks the “like” button. lol

    I also like your advice of being yourself. I know that as easy as that may sound to some people, it’s actually difficult for some to adjust to finding their “voice” in the medium of social media. It is often confused with their stream-of-consciousness.

      1.) I actually make friends with spammy people when I do find them, because it means they do not understand the laws of attraction… some are amazed when I shared with them what I’m doing.

      2.) Being yourself is really difficult when first starting. I had a difficult time being myself because I really didn’t know anything and was imitating successful people. In the long run, being yourself is also essentially branding yourself. People are going to like you who you are… some aren’t… but who cares? :)
