How to Create Marketing Funnel

Imagine a funnel. It is wide at the top, and it gets narrower at the bottom. The idea of marketing funnel is also like that. The purpose of Marketing Funnel is to attract as many prospects as possible to the top of the funnel. Now, this is how we work with our Marketing Funnel starting at the top.

  1. Offer free products or services such as basic introduction coaching, webinars, eBooks, etc. on your website’s sales page.
  2. After introducing your products and services, offer them priced but not-so-expensive products or services.
  3. Continue moving down the marketing funnel by slowly selling more expensive products or services such as 30-day coaching subscriptions, software and tools, and retreats.

By doing these steps accordingly, you do not scare away your potential customers from the start because of the paid products or services. Plus, if they can learn about your products or services for free at first, you can earn their trust initially and they would be interested and curious to know more about it. That is the benefits of having a marketing funnel.

  1. Hi Luke. Have you read my mind? This is EXACTLY the plan I am creating right now. I have created a free opt-in (not up yet due to tech. problems) and once someone opts in, they will be on my mailing list. I will start small with click bank books or other affiliates that don’t cost too much money, then my big product will be exposed in the right time. Thanks for explaining this in one post. It took me months to learn this.

      One of the reason this blog post is created, is also because I am crafting my own free opt-in and my own products.

      One of the main lessons I’ve learnt, with regards to the importance of having a free opt-in branded to you is really the responsiveness of the leads.
