Review on SECockpit Keyword Tool

In my previous post, I wrote about my experience of using Market Samurai, a powerful keyword research tool. However, I also stated there are some problems with it. Now, I will be talking about another powerful keyword research tool that I have been using now. It is called SECockpit.

SECockpit – What you need to know

SECockpit is a very powerful keyword research tool used by internet marketers which helps them increase the income generation of their website. It is very brilliant because it can help track how many backlinks are there for a particular keyword. It also helps compute the niche value. Hence, it is very easy to know which keyword niches are worth competing.

Why I love SECockpit

One of the top reasons why I love SECockpit is that it is very time efficient. It can literally give me a list of generated keywords in no time, and the loading of results is 400 times faster than Market Samurai since it runs on cloud computing. In addition, SECockpit returns me strength of competition, which makes it is really easy for me to know how competitive the top sites are for that particular keyword. They also tell you how many visitors you can expect on your site per day, based on the ranking you have with search engines. In addition, SECockpit’s aesthetics is great and it is easy to navigate and understand. Expect no lags, hangs, software updates and bugs. In my opinion, SECockpit is really the best keyword research available right now. The only thing that may make people think twice is the recurring monthly fee.

How I do keyword research in SECockpit

  1. Click the key button (New Keyword Search) which can be found on the upper left part of the left pane.
  2. Enter your keyword phrase you want to do research with.
  3. Save and close.
  4. In just a matter of few seconds, SECockpit gives you the list of results. Here, you may now analyze which keywords are good to use. Here are my guidelines on how to pick the right keyword.
  • It has a good niche value. It is basically traffic volume divided by competition level. A good niche is the one with high traffic volume but less competition level.
  • The competition percentage is less than 50%. When you are still starting out, it is really better not to compete with very tough words as it will really be hard to get past them. It is like competing with a cheetah in a running race. Compete only with a cheetah when you are a cheetah as well. Go for not so strong but not so weak keyword competition. There is a better chance that you can outrank them.
  • The daily visitors are significantly numerous. For me, I get attracted to keywords with daily keywords of more than 20. If it is lesser than that, it could mean that only a few people search for it and driving of traffic is less. We do not like that.

In conclusion, I am very much amazed with SECockpit keyword research tool.
